A new ‘Era’ is coming
The era of Golden Creative Leisure
For the first time in history, the whole of humanity has stopped. The global economy, the financial world, and all sport, entertainment and religious ceremonies of every nation are put on hold leaving more than 3 billion of people isolated in their houses and forced to finally spend some time with themselves.
We have therefore once again come face to face with what is the real illness of the world. The real cause behind every problem is not famine or war, not climate change or an invisible deadly virus, but man’s conflictual thinking, its lack of “unity”.
Just looking at the evolution of all human knowledge we can see how that also is the product of a continuous clash of opposing concepts and ideologies, with the advancements in our science going always hand in hand with advancement in war industries and the increment of man’s self-destructive behavior. The world is the reflection of our way of thinking and feeling, of our convictions, and of our system of values; and as long as the psychology of man remains ill, then war, poverty, crime and pain will continue to be the founding pillars of its economy.
It is time then for a new, silent, secret revolution: an ‘individual revolution’ that will be able to change the current dreary systems and create a new man free from destructive thoughts and negative emotions; a new generation of men that understand that all we see and touch, all we perceive, the skyscrapers of finance, the pyramids of industry, the discoveries and achievements of science and technology, all we call ‘reality’, is nothing but the projection of an inner invisible world, a world of ideas and values that runs vertically to the plane of our existence: the world of Being.
The cells of this new humanity must be educated one by one. The harmonization of opposites has to take place in every man through an inside-out process: from the individual to society; because only the individual can transform society; only the individual can free the world from conflicts, limitation, violence, injustice and death.
Today, with an invisible enemy seemingly holding the whole world hostage, we are reminded that the most difficult and painful moments bring with them great opportunities — the opportunity to turn towards our inner being and break the mechanical cycle of inner deaths that bend and degrade our existence — and the chance to enter into a higher order of life, a higher state of being.
We are therefore called to live moments of suspension, to return to a stillness and to bravely move towards a “not-doing civilization where truth, goodness, beauty and the pursuit of happiness are the pillars of a shining new economically evolved society.
